Hello all!

Thankyou so much for our messages - we love reading them.

Had another eventful few days here in Chiang Mai. We got the overnight sleeper train from Bangkok - much nicer than expected, with a crazy but lovely lady selling drinks and "snacks" (unsure wat they were?!) We slept like paranoid idiots with our bags strapped to ourselves and clutching our valuables like babies! After 15hours we finally arrived....

For the last couple of days we've mainly been by the pool. Megs caught some bug so didn't feel too well - I'm fine now tho as back to english food, don't think the thai food agreed with me!! We steer well clear of the nightlife here, english men old enough to be grandads with young thai girls- hideous sight. eugh.

We had to...grrr...buy a new camera as ours seemed to pack in, probably too hot for it hehe. Luckily they aren't too expensive out here and we could use our memory card so not too bad. Once the camera is sorted the pics WILL be updated!!

On Monday we are off to see the hill tribes on an organised tour, long necks and big ears - sounds attractive. Then on tuesday we are going to have a relaxing day (because we haven't relaxed enough already) before getting the train back to Bangkok.

We are having tons of fun and have met so many people from around the world. Although we seem to be the only english people that actually make an effort with foreigners!
