Hi all!

We have spent the last week on Phi Phi Island. It's very beautiful but quite sad as the effects from the tsunami are still pretty obvious. We climbed to a viewpoint, up about a million steps and from the top you could see the whole island which was amazing. It was very hot, just for a change hehe, but the beach was nice and also a nice swimming pool where we met lots of people. The island is so small that after a week there we knew just about everyone!

On one day we decided to do a day trip each, Kim went snorkelling with coral sharks. Up at 6.30am it nearly killed Kim, but it was definitely worth it. Saw about 20 sharks which swam around our legs. The current was really strong in some places and we kicked as hard as we could only to move backwards! Megs, being paranoid about sharks gave that trip a miss and went island hopping on a longtail boat with other people. Visited bamboo island, monkey island etc and did loads of snorkelling. Also visited Maya Bay where "The Beach" movie was filmed - it was amazing. A good day had by both.

Thanks for the messages, we love reading them. Our tans (Megan's in particular) are bordering on ridiculous - you would think we have spent the last 6 weeks in Morecombe!
