Hi everyone,

Here we are back in sunny bangkok after 3 days in kanchanaburi. Its been pretty amazing, and packed ful of activities!!!

On the first day we visited a cemetery and the bridge over the river Kwai...and stayed in a floating hotel over night. Bar included but afraid only water or beer!!

Secoond day included a visit to Erawan Waterfalls where we went swimming in lagoons. Not bad eh?!This was a bit of trek up a mountain, but soldiered on in the boiling heat!! Then we went to a tiger temple and got to stoke the tigers while having pictures taken (yet to be updated)

On the third day we went bamboo rafting and elephant trekking along the cliffs, we were on the rebel elephant called Dudey. THe whole trip has been well worth it and we've met loads of people from across the globe! At first we were the only english - very strange! The only bad thing is the food, even for Megan the food was bland...rice rice and more rice!

We taught the tour guide how to do the robot dance like back in England, he found it very funny and we took photos of him doing it! Now, we are in Bangkok train station waiting for a train up to Chiang Mai, rather long journey but hey.

Thanks so much for all of your messages..they keep us happy and less homesick! We miss u all loaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaads.
