Matty woke up early this morning and decided to bond with the dog by taking her round and around the park while everyone else had a bit of a sleep in. After breakfast, Nick dropped me off at the shopping centre to spend the morning getting all the Christmas shopping done while he walked the dog along the beach with the kids. By lunchtime I was finished and had most of the shopping done. Nick came by and picked me up and we went back to the van for lunch. I had spent the morning waiting for a call about a rental house that's coming up and was totally frustrated by mid afternoon when they still hadn't rung so Nick and I jumped in the car and went off to see some others outside our preferred area. The kids were quite impressed by one of the houses so we have a viewing booked for tomorrow. On the way home we stopped at the beach for a walk and then came home for a coffee and 10 minutes respite before beginning dinner. The kids spent the night playing 'Uno' and the peace was fantastic when they were all asleep in bed!!
