The boys woke up around 7am and so the rest of us weren't too far behind them. I made everyone breakfast for a change - it took forever due to all the different breakfast requests!! Once we were all cleaned up we drove back into Darwin and spent the morning at the Wave Lagoon in the Wharf Precinct. It is a fabuous spot that cost us a total of $23 for the whole day. We were one of the first groups to arrive and there were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas around. They also provided free boogie boards, donuts and noodles to use in the wave pool. The waves had just started as we got there so the three bigger kids ran in and Nick went in to watch them. Anna on the other hand wasn't so sure so I ended up with her in the paddle pool and fountains!! It took at least two completed wave cycles before I saw the others again by which time Nick was in need of coffee so I zipped off to the nearest café!! We ended up leaving the lagoon around 1pm as everyone was hungry. We drove into town and parked by Government House then walked the main shopping mall and found a food court. While we were in town we also got the boys' hair cut and then Matty and Jonny refused to wear their sun hats in case it ruined their new look!! We got home around 3pm and went straight to the pool for a swim. We had a late dinner as the kids were too busy playing to come home and eat and it was too hot to be interested in food!
