Okay what can we say? We heart Koh Tao!

We decided to go back as we were feeling a bit tired, run down, so thought we would spend some quality time at our fave AC resort at Sairee Beach. So we got on a long tail at 7am at Railay which was AMAZING! The sun was rising and there was a beautiful light all around us and the ocean was still. It took 20 minutes to get the pier where the bus was meeting us and it was one of the most, if not the most beautiful boat ride we had ever been on. We got in the minivan and had a smooth 6 hour journey to Chumphon pier ahead of us, (apart from witnessing the after math of a fatal car crash on the motorway.)

We then got on the lompraya catamaran to Koh Tao after being placed to wait (buy food and drinks) at a restaurant in town for 40 minutes. Oh and yes we were in Chumphon but for some reason it took us 2 bus changes to get to the pier?!

On Koh Tao we pretty much chilled out at the pool, drank cocktails and ate great food all week. We knew the next few weeks were gonna be busy and we wanted to have a nice experience of Thailand before we left for Vietnam.

Koh Tao is so pretty and small. We would definately love to go back again one day although it is developing into a proper 'resort' pretty fast! There is cute all bars along the beach, lit up with fairy lights and the food and drink is cheaper than on the southern islands. Maybe we will buy a house there if we ever win the lottery!
