We thought we would write a summary of our experience in New Zealand, mainly because we wished we had done it for the US, although that would be really hard as every state is like a different country! We finally departed Queenstown, after thoughrolly enjoying it and could of stayed there longer, and headed to the east coast. It was quite a boring drive as it was mostly long straight roads that was until we stopped to get the charger from the back, to charge our camera for the boulders at moeraki, and when we tried to drive off again nothing happened! We had a scenic drive to Wanaka, although in heavy rain, there was lots of pretty rivers and waterfalls. We got to Wanaka and it was a lovely town, nice camp site that had free wifi (oh my god!) We arrived at Franz Josef and it was a nice little town, not much there but it had a few bars :-) which looked cool and had free wifi, which was a bonus as internet is so expensive in NZ. On the way to Punakaiki we stopped at Westport for food and toilet break and discovered we didnt like it much, it remeinded us of longton on a bad day but a lot less friendly! It was a really ugly town, the people quite odd and completely smile-less. Why anyone would choose to holiday here is beyond us so we got out as soon as possible!
