Well we set off from just north of Aukland for the Bay of Islands (becky's recomendation) and we were going to do a cruise up there, it took about 4 hours to get there, once we got there suprise suprise we headed for a liquor store to stock up. The campsite we stayed at was nice as it was on the beach, once we had checked in we headed into Paihia and we looked at the prices and we decided not to do a cruise (which is the only thing to do in the bay of islands) so...

We awoke after an amazing 12 hour sleep in our cosy campervan and looked out of our window to see another sunny day wooo. We arrived in New Zealand surprisingly perky after a 13 and a half hour flight. The flight from LA to Auckland was excellent we had our own TVs and lots of legroom(shocking!) so we can definitely recommend qantas over BA any day.
