Left Kenora heading for Thunder Bay. Made our way to Dryden for breakfast and a quick drive around town. Dryden is a mill town and it was kind of neat coming into it from the west as you see the mill right along side the small river right inside in the town. We pulled out of Lloyd on the 14th after our Timmies run at around 7am and made good time to Battleford. We drove around a bit and went to the water tower that Cam remembered as a kid as looking like a UFO. I took a pic from underneath and it certainly does! After a very brief visit with friends we headed out to see our eldest, Craig, for a couple of days. We spent a few hours around Edmonton and then headed east on the #14 Hi-Way instead of the usual Yellowhead Hi-Way. A nicer drive even though it may take a bit longer.
