Our first full day on the road took us first to Armstrong, BC, where we had a quick lunch with my niece and then said goodbye to various brothers, sister-in-laws and great-nieces and nephews. It was a short jaunt as we spotted an antique store about 5 minutes down the road. No treasures found. Revelstoke seems to have taken great effort to revitalize their downtown. Brick intersections, lots of flowers and , due to the amount of Grizzly Bears in the area, quite a few Grizzly statues. After a quick drive around town we headed towards Golden. I must say the Trans-Canada Hi-way leaves much to be desired between the two towns. It had been a late start to the day so we decided to stay in Golden for the night. Our goal for tomorrow is Pigeon Lake Alberta.
