After checking into the WakeUp Hostel, and being upgraded to a family room, we went down to the Hostel Bar called Side Bar for our 2for1 drinks. After this, we decided to jump in a taxi and head for Darling Harbour. One word describes this place - WOW! The Opera House is huge. Slightly bigger than the one in Jersey! The Harbour Bridge is massive. I can only imagine what the views are gonna be like when i do the BridgeClimb tomorrow, never mind the height!!! We went for a drink in the Minus 5 Bar on the East Side of the Harbour. A strange experience, especially when you consider the heat in Sydney. We put on our gloves and our jackets and headed in for a couple of cocktails - its freezing (obviously!) Back to the hostel for an early night. Well, it would've been if the Bar hadnt been so lively and inviting. Well, its gonna be a jam packed day tomorrow. Hoping to fit in the BridgeClimb, the Sydney Tower, an Opera House tour, as well as a trip to Manly and Bondi Beach - here's hoping!!

Friday 28th March

Well, i managed everything i set out to do today. Was up earlyish to walk the ten minutes to the Sydney Tower. The views over the city were amazing! You can see for miles up there! After a quick cab ride, i met Debbie n Nina for our tour of the Opera House. This was so interesting and facinating. To think they thought it'd only cost 7million dollars and take 3 years to build. Slight overbudget! In the end, it cost over $102000000 and 14 years to complete!!! Looks like Wembley was a doddle!
