Day Four of the Connections Tour: Once the coach was loaded, we took a short drive up to Byron Bay Lighthouse, the most Easternly Point of Australia. Some amazing sites, and another group photo. A 3km walk back into Byron Bay before boarding the coach for our 2 hour drive to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. Along the way, we stopped off at the Natural Arch. We also made a brief stop on the border of NSW/Queensland. After arriving in Surfers Paradise, and checking into the Paradise Resort, i headed out for a stroll down the beach, watching the surfers waiting for that 'perfect wave'. I then took a walk into the main part of Surfers and had a look round the shops. I head back to the resort to meet the rest of the group for dinner. We headed to the Surfers Paradise SLSC Supporters Club before going to Melbas Bar for a few cheeky drinks. Back to the resort by 11pm - how boring am i getting??

Day Five of the Connections Tour: Up early this morning to walk along the beach to Q1, the tallest residential building in the world, views across the whole of the Gold Coast. Walked back to the resort to meet Dani, Geraldine and Paola. We caught the bus to SeaWorld. Saw the dolphins, Polar Bears, Penguins before checking in for the dolphin adventure. Spent half an hour with Bala and Zipper. What an experience, absolutely incredible. A definite highlight of the tour. Then, it was back to the hotel to pack and head to the restaurant for dinner. A few of us went over to the funfair and went on a ride called the Vomatron. Doing a ride like this, that flips you up, down and around at high speed aint a good thing - especially after dinner, as Adam found out - Sickboy!! It was a fairly early one in the end, as leaving at 7.30am tomorrow
