Saturday 5th April

Day 8 of the Connections Tour: An early start today to catch the ferry to Hervey Bay - made even more difficult with a stinking hangover. A couple of us thought carrying on drinking would be the answer - it wasnt!! After arriving in Hervey Bay, we jumped back on the coach to head for our next port of call - Capricorn Caves. We stopped in GinGin for a break and much needed pie. Lunch was at 1 - couldnt face food! A quick stop in Rockhampton as we crossed the Tropic of Capricorn before we finally arrived in Capricorn Caves. A brief walk around the area, followed by dinner, then bed! Early night tonight. In bed for 8.30pm - i'm getting to old for this drinking malarky!! Need to get myself sorted for the next few days of the trip - the Whitsundays!!
