I made some new friends this weekend on a camping trip with the Outdoor Adventures group at Denver Seminary. We went camping in the Clear Creek Canyon area of Gunnison National Forest. On Saturday we went on a hike to Sheep's Gate (?) before heading back to Denver.

The hike started at 10,000 ft. of elevation and climbed up to about 12,000 ft. in two miles. It was pretty much straight up! I had forgotten to bring my medicine for my tremors, so my blood pressure was a little wonky during the hike. Clearly I have not adjusted to the altitude yet! It was a beautiful, sunny, autumn day and the aspen were glowing with fall color. Great time with lovely people!
