Woke up and not so lucky with the weather today. Arth determined to climb Mount Urgull (essentially a hill but declared a mountain by me!) so off we set in the wind and rain. Really nice walk, even if uphill and has a cool castle on top and a massive statue of Saint Sebastian/Jesus depending on who you ask. Had a good explore up the top and headed down. From the noise we assumed that there was a festival of sorts going on and halfway down could see a boat race was going on. Stopped and watched at various points down the hill. The greens appeared to win but I'm not entirely sure. Very loud singing and dancing anyway and was good to watch. All the bars in town were packed with people and the whole of the old town very busy. Went and used the net and bumped into Mal and Phil. Arranged to meet them later for dinner. Then decided to take shelter from crowds and weather back at the hostel cos some of the teams were getting slightly aggressive. Met the boys at 8 after a little siesta and trip to the supermarket. Opted for Chinese being a safe option veggie wise. Really starting to like Chinese now and went with whatever the boys ordered (with a few limitations!) really enjoyable meal and stayed for quite a while in the restaurant chatting and laughing. Went into a bar for a drink but all of town emptying out by now as the festivities had started about noon. Said some sad goodbyes and left the boys to go back to the hostel.
