Woke early for the bus and felt surprisingly awake even with lack of sleep. Last bus journey today and felt a little sad. Watched Pirates of the Caribbean and really enjoyed it. Also had a bonus stop in Burgos. Has the 3rd largest cathedral in Spain so had a potter around inside. Really feeling cathedral-ed out as they say on Busabout so was only a brief visit. Got a very good sarnie for lunch and got back on the bus. Couple of Friends epsiodes later and we arrived in San Sebastian. Bigger than I thought it would be and for the strangest reason feels quite English. Took ages to check in but eventually got to our rooms. Pinched the bottom bunk as Arth hasn't had 3 months of poo beds. (might be nice and swap at some point!) came out for an explore around the town. Very nice but a bit 'resorty'. Should be good if the weather holds. Due for showers all weekend, great! Both beaches look good, one in a bay and one they call surfers beach for obvious reasons. Used the net briefly and headed back to the hostel for a little siesta. Came out to find the weather had somewhat altered. was a huge storm and very wet and windy. Ended up walking to station to meet Arth battling with brolly and skirt. (skirt ended up tucked in knickers as only way it didn't keep flying up!) got to the station looking rather windswept i think. Met Arth, good to see him. Walked back to hostel in the storm, think Arth was very impressed at the weather. Came back and got changed before attempting to find somewhere to eat. Veggies not really catered for in Spain. Ended up at an Italian and had some really good food and sangria. Went for a drink in Zibbobo's which is where most of the Busabout people go. Bumped into a few familiar faces and got random free t shirt. Both tired tho and not drunk enough to keep up with the others so headed back to hostel about 1.
