Woken by bathroom door again so got up about 9. Wasn't sure what do do as rain was forecast but headed to train station, destination Sitges! Thought it would be good to see again and had the time. A lot has changed since I was last there, much more touristy and even a Burger King. A shame really but was always destined to get that way. Beach still beautiful and spent the afternoon in an impromtu bikini and read my book on sun lounger. Rain had turned into beautiful sunny day so all good. Headed up to the church and different again to my memory. Great to wander around tho and then walked back into town along the beach promenade. Fantastic! Bibbled back through the shops and headed to the station. Managed to spot some Spanish cranes on the way back, very exciting (sorry dad, couldn't resist!) Came back to the hostel planning a quiet night and ended up having two dinner plans! Had quick shower and headed out again with two new roommates, Nick and Emily. some americans and non busabouters, novel! Met Chris, Ewan and Kirsten again and went to dinner. They'd found a great tapas place after I'd left them last night so we headed there. Quite a walk tho but the food was well worth it. A convert to tapas from now on. Had a bit of hassle getting a table for all of us but I organised all (as I tend to do) and ended up all sat together. Really enjoyable meal and spent quite some time eating and drinking wine. Left there and realised we weren't too far from the Festival de Gracia. Headed towards there, really cool when we eventually got there. Each street had a different theme, sea, garden, pirates, pinata?, also a funfair for kids, with bands playing. The boys found an outdoor fuseball table and played that for a while. Saw some really heavy rock for a while and moved on to the sea themed street. Had a more light hearted band with a diva on stage. Ended up joining in with the dancing and the routines. very good fun! Spent over an hour there and realised the time. Headed back to the hostel in taxi as probably an hour away. Headed straight for bed.
