Had a very bad nights sleep. A noisy group drinking near the tents and some dog fight combined lead to about 2 hours peace. Went to the loo at 4am to find a huge black dog standing at the door to my tent, startled is an understatement! Were all on the bus for 8 to head to the marina to get the boat to the island of Capri. Off on the bus to the Italian Explorer at 8. Was going with some of the others I'd been with in Venice so was good. Got to Pompeii at 11ish and had a guided tour. slightly disappointed tho. Pompeii was amazing but a place I felt I would rather have the chance to explore. Guide was really good and kept calling 'Busabout yoo hoo!' to get our attention which has become a running joke. Painful get up in the morning but got there early as wanted to get the direct bus to Rome rather than the one going via Ancona. Managed it and had a much shorter journey.
