Went to breakfast alone, strange but very mature of me! Came back and collected Adelena and Michael and went to Prague Castle. Only a bus and two trams away, nearly as bad as Tipidabo. Got up and posted live 8 book, heavy! Boarded bus at 11 30 and met up with Adelena. Had long wait at Czech border, seem quite strict but got through eventually. Had interesting sights on crossing the border, 'ladies of the night' were on the side of the road in purpose built huts enticing the truck drivers in! Apparently they are usually on the road. Very uneventful and lazy day. Had lie in and went into the Aldstadt again. Took wander around and bought lunch. Took long walk out to botanical gardens, beautiful palace in the middle, and ate lunch there. Read my book lazing on the grass for 3 hours. Good way to spend the afternoon. Walked back to the town and caught the tram back to the hostel. Chatted to room mates, packed, got dinner and used internet. Had early night.

Got on coach at 8, only short journey today. Got to Dresden about 11. Checked into the Die Boofe hostel. Really weird and scary lady on reception so was worried about the room. No need, room great, comfy bed, en suite and kitchen facilities in the room. even a fridge! 4 of us in the room, an aussie couple and Aleesha, another aussie. Happy Birthday Gabriel!! Woke up far too early considering the late night but got up anyway. Spent the day with Mal, Phil, Adelena and Kirsten. All went to the history museum, managed to get for free. Ticket guy asked if anyone was under 18, with a laugh I said I could be, with my pigtails he believed me.
