Got the bus at 8. Busy bus so ended up sitting next to someone. Uneventful journey. Tried to enjoy the jam sandwiches, difficult when the others are enjoying bacon and eggs at the service station but need to save money. Arrived about 12 to the Yoho International Hostel. Checked in and got a room with Jenny (Budapest). Went out in search of lunch and went a long way out of our way finding somewhere only to come back to the first place. Met Adelena at 10 in her room and couldn't see the boys so went into town. Got a metro card as feeling lazy. Went to the old part of town again. Saw the parliament building (thru construction work) and the Rathaus. Tour guide recommended a tram ride around the 'ring road'. Not like a city one at home, is where all the old and beautiful buildings are. Sat all the way round feeling a little silly but didn't really care! Had some lunch and meandered into the city. F...

Got up and met Grant and Daniella and headed into town. Feeling pretty stressed with results and G and D didn't help. Were just expecting me to all the map reading and decisions and then blaming me when the place wasn't very good. Wandered around the nice bit of Vienna admiring old buildings. Woke about 8 30 and waited for room mates to leave. Got up slowly and checked out just before 10. Went out to supermarket and bought bread for sandwiches for the bus, service stations eating into budget a bit too much. Changed my remaining Forints back to Euros, 24 was very pleased.
