Bus at 8. Confusion when leaving as three buses going at the same time. Got on the right one tho and settled for the journey. Not long and arrived about 12 to Cinque Terre. Bumped into Phil when off the bus but soon lost him in the confusion. stayed in La Spezia, not the villages but was a good town. Hotel looked pretty grand from the outside but basic inside. Had my own room with en suite tho so didn't mind. Met with Laura and headed to the 5th village, Monterosso, via train. Whole area called "5 lands" (Cinque Terre), basically 5 villages along the coastline, can walk between them all. Village very small but pretty. Got some over priced lunch and continued exploring, didn't take very long. Came back to La Spezia and had a wander around the town, not beautiful but pleasant enough. Was feeling poorly so went back to the hotel after that and crashed for the afternoon, found MTV on the tv so was happy. Surfaced for dinner at 7 30 with Laura. Came across the Miss La Spezia practice for the real competition, watched for a while and found a restaurant. Had good meal, yet another pizza! Arrived back in main square for the real contest, watched for a bit and went back to hotel rather tired.
