Went on the bike ride today with Megan (room mate) - was really good if not potentially dangerous. Went on pavements most of the way but occasionally had to cross huge roads, great when combined with French drivers! Saw some amazing things tho and guide was really good. Saw the major places. Met at Eiffel Tower and went to the Louvre, Grand Palais, Invalides, Tulleries Gardens etc. Unbelievably hot tho - nearly burnt with 30 on (being vv sensible mum!) - now have healthy tan emerging.
Thunderstorm at 5 prevented my evening bike tour from taking place so got yet another baguette and took a stroll in the local area - unfortunately it's the red light district so full of interesting sights to say the least! Came across the Moulin Rouge tho which was pretty cool.
Gonna attempt an early night tonight as big day tomorrow - Versailles and the night bike tour.
