5am wake up call for a 8.45am flight...at least there were no issues checking in and we had time for breakfast. Once we arrived in Liverpool, we got to our accommodation and chilled for a bit. We had already booked the Magical Music Tour and found our way there, by having lunch first. The tour was spectacular! Got to see where all the boys grew up and where John Lennon and Paul McCartney met and other significant locations. Our ticket allowed us entry into the Cavern Club where The Beatles played 292 times, we listened to 4 bands who played The Beatles covers. It was International Beatles Week and thus our timing was awesome!!! The music was really amazing, and the beers kept flowing, didn't mind at all that it was Fosters. We left there and got caught in the rain (again), bloody English weather. We arrived at our local bar for some food but the only thing we could order was pizza...ah well. We got home, feeling cold, tired and ready for bed. A good day had.
