As an optional extra of the tour, we joined the group in a scenic cruise across Lake Lucerne to the village of Stans, where we took the cable car and railway up to the view point of the whole of the alpines of Switzerland. Absolutely stunning, although it was overcast and cool, it was a beautiful experience. We had a siesta in the afternoon and walked around the city for the last time. We then experienced a folklore evening and dinner which was fun and very enjoyable. Watching Jas being dragged up on stage to yodel was memorable, at least the reward was two beers! Sad to be leaving a stunning place but also excited to be seeing more as the trip continues. More World Cup watching to be had, with a beer or two.
