It seemed like today we spent most of it at airports. We arrived at Glasgow Airport at 5.15am to catch our flight to Romania via London. Another awesome day of sport! We were at the badminton in the morning, then Bek headed to watch some more gymnastics with Naeem. Australia were so close to winning a medal! Bek then got in an hour of wrestling which was pretty interesting. To end the night, we watched another session of athletics. Amazing! Another big day today, started with a session of the Table Tennis - both men and women qualifying rounds. Some competitors were great, some well weren't fabulous. Next, boxing!!! Got to see the super talented Alexis do her magic. She is such a superb boxer and it was disappointing to say the least that she didn't pull through today, it really was not the best decision made by the judges because she owned it and she went out on a split decision. 4 events in one day = feeling very tired! Glasgow put on a beautiful sunny and warm day, some say it was the Aussies that brought the sunshine with them! We started with the men's Hockey (pool games), saw Australia beat South Africa quite comfortably and half of the Wales vs Scotland game. Our day went like this: woke up at 6am, left Bourne by 7am. Drove to Hamilton (Scotland, very close to Glasgow) in roughly 5 hours. Jas dropped Bek at train station to wait with bags, Jas took rental car back then met Bek at station. Caught train to Glasgow, Jas picked up game tickets whilst Bek waited with a coffee, minding the bags. Walked and took subway to accommodation.
