We woke up to an overcast day and as soon as we left Florence, it decided to rain, and a lot! The timing was bad as we visited Pisa, but it did not stop us admiring the leaning tower and taking some photos. Thank goodness for our umbrella that we found in Berlin, although you would not of been short of places to purchase one if need be with all the salesman trying to hassle every tourist that walked past. It was very cool to see one of the 'seven wonders of the world.' It continued to rain on and off, following lunch we had time to visit Monaco. Very beautiful, oh how the other half live! An hour was enough and we managed not to spend anything! Then we arrived in Nice and settled in to our accommodation. We all headed our for dinner and a walk around the harbour. Found the laundry mat which is on the agenda for tomorrow. Not sure what else we shall get up to as we have a free day/night. Relaxing for sure, and maybe a leisurely bike ride. We shall see!
