A long day but a good day! Walking tour at 11am which started at Grand Place and took us through a lot of Brussels main sites including town hall, Maison du Roi, the Comic Art Scene, The Stock Exchange, Galeries Saint Hubert, Manneken Pis, The Monnaie Opera, St Nicholas Church, River Scene, The Royal Square, Mont des Arts and the birthplace of Tin Tin. Again, a worthwhile way of seeing the city. Afterwards we enjoyed some Pomme Frites and visited the Museum of the City of Brussels, enjoyed the display of Manneken Pis in all the different costumes. We tried the local famous waffles which were scrummy and then joined a beer tour where we got to try 4 local beers - ranging from 3% to 10.5%. Belgium certainly know how to produce nice beers! We then had a few more with some of the guys from the group at their popular Delirium Cafe before heading home.
