Woke up in my hotel in Shanghai and was excited to get up and open the curtains and see what was out there seeing as it was dark and couldn't see anything the night before....opened the curtains and......nothing....smog.....could hardly see the building next door! Oh well....was a good sleep and was ready for another 24 hour day! Took the shuttle to the airport and had a little culture shock watching the people on scooters and bikes meandering down the freeway!! Yikes!! Got to the airport and couldn't find the check in counter.....wrong terminal!! Thankfully I had plenty of time and was able to walk over to the other terminal as they have a walkway! Flight was uneventful other than the snorting...coughing....sneezing.....hac king and the lady next to me who kept falling asleep literally on my shoulder....she must of taken something because she was out cold and I was actually moving her off me without her even waking up!! Customs was easy.....and by this time after customs in Shanghai and getting luggage...checking in.....I was prepared for the shin and calf slamming by carts and little old ladies pushing me around to get where they wanted......deep breath and just go with the flow! Happy my honey and wooden souvenirs made it through 3 custom checks!! Had a hotel booked in Vancouver for the night.....wishing I had was not in a complete daze and exhausted and could of enjoyed Vancouver but no such luck....I attempted the mall but that ended quickly and just resorted to chilling in my hotel room fighting to stay awake to force myself into a normal time zone!
