Woke up in my hotel in Shanghai and was excited to get up and open the curtains and see what was out there seeing as it was dark and couldn't see anything the night before....opened the curtains and......nothing....smog.....could hardly see the building next door! Oh well....was a good sleep and was ready for another 24 hour day! Took the shuttle to the airport and had a little culture shock watching the people on scooters and bikes meandering down the freeway!! ...

Spent the night in Vancouver, had a good rest before the very very long day begins! Had a great room at the Westin with a view of the mountains....spoiled! Had a great feed of sushi at the casino across the way of all places!! Floor to ceiling windows, what a surprise when a plane flew by my window this morning!!! The flights yesterday went great, only issue was I arrived in Vancouver to find they had damaged my bag. The clasp that holds one of the shoulder strap...
