Spent the night in Vancouver, had a good rest before the very very long day begins! Had a great room at the Westin with a view of the mountains....spoiled! Had a great feed of sushi at the casino across the way of all places!! Floor to ceiling windows, what a surprise when a plane flew by my window this morning!!! The flights yesterday went great, only issue was I arrived in Vancouver to find they had damaged my bag. The clasp that holds one of the shoulder straps on my bag is smashed!! They said there is nothing they can do for me.....just thankful it is my broomball gear bag which I won't be travelling with very long. Will send it home with one of my teammates and carry on with my other pack! Today I have a very long day...a 13 flight to Guangzhou in China, a 4 hr layover then a 9 hr flight to Melbourne! I know I am a seasoned traveller but both these flights are longer than any others for me! Thankfully got a few tips from some friends who did the trip just the other day! Heading to the Vancouver airport shortly.....let the adventure unfold!!!
