From Bishops Waltham we braved the weather and headed to Wales. First stop was a famous bridge, The Clifton Suspension Bridge built between 1836 and 1864. This bridge spans the Avon gorge and river near Bristol. Crest dates way back in history, at one point in time it was a walled city, the Keep, or La Tour de Crest is all that remains of the walls and castle after Louis XIII ordered to have it all demolished.
