I woke up to the sound of the waves breaking against the shore, so peaceful. I went outside to the balcony for a cigarette in the hammock while watching the sea and the very few people walking along the sand. When dan woke up, we gathered some dirty washing together to take to a laundry place up near the pier. They charge $1 per KG of washing and ours was around 3KG. So we dropped it off at the laundry hostel place and walked further up to find a place for breakfast.
We ended up sitting outside on a table and chair at a restaurant/bar. We both ordered a full english breakfast as we were quite hungry. We sat on the beach in the sand awaiting the food. When it arrived, so did three dogs, one being a really cute puppy. They were so cute just sitting quietly at our feet. I wasn't keen on the sausages so i cut them out and shared them between the three dogs. We got so into it we began making dog canopies, with baguette, egg and sausage to feed to them; lucky dogs!
When we finished breakfast we walked back bare foot in the sand to our room. We saw a place advertising a boat trip to long beach and snorkelling and fishing for $13, so we booked that for tomorrow. We went into our shack and got undressed and into our swimwear and into the sea. It's so warm and clean and the breeze is perfect. They don't have any sun loungers on the beach so you could either lay on a towel on the sand or hop back to the balcony in the hammock. We spent a majority of the day in the sea. We went to monkey island for lunch. Daniel had chocolate and banana pancakes i had muesli with fresh fruit and yoghurt which was a very generous portion! We spent the rest of the day chilling on our hammock and swimming in the sea.
When the sun began to set, we had showers and had a smoke on the balcony to build up an appetite for dinner. We went to our restaurant for food, monkey island and we both ordered a veggie burger and chips so that they would arrive at the same time which they did, but Daniel's chips were stone cold so we sent them back. After dinner we stayed chilling in the restaurant for a bit then headed back to our balcony to chill out and sleep.
