Next day and we're out on our little purple warrior again? its makes it sound much more manly. Breakfast at the bar from last night and we met a thai girl who was wasted there, but she was good fun. Luckily enough she was a tour guide and give us some ace tips of where to go, so she pretty much planned our day out for us. The day involved us going to Pom Bok waterfall, again there was a lack of steps at these waterfalls which to Jacs delight involved me nearly plummeting to some big rocks. Its starting to do my head in so much that I nearly considered buying those stupid croc shoes, but I only considered it for one second. Then on to PaiCanyon which is really high and the lack of fencing round the edges is making me sweat even more than I usually do. The next point of call on our fifteen mile journey was the world war 2 bridge, At this point Aaron starts to explain, in a round about way the history behind the bridge, later I read a book on the history of Pai and he had made the whole story up! Yeah but it sounded like I knew what I was on about! Next off, we went North and randomly passed an elephant camp, we pulled over and the Thai lady was super doopa cool, (bearing in mind you have to pay to think over here) she let us feed the Nellys and even showed us how to get hugs off them! Now?here we are once in a lifetime opportunity to get a hug off an elephant, me being brave just stomps up and does what she showed me to do, successful picture?Aaron on the other hand had about 20 goes, in the end just feeding them really, but he did get there and theres quite a funny picture of this, the expression on his face?PRICELESS! He was sweating like you would not believe! We decided to leave when they all started pooping, as the smell was starting to turn our 'made of steel' stomachs! We decided to do a u-turn and ended up at Exotic Spa Camping, which is a very posh hotel, and us two smelly backpackers trudge up and cheekily ask if we can swim in their pools! But these aren't just any pools, these are Marks and Spencer fresh water thermal spa pools, which run down stream from the natural thermal spring in the National Park about 1 mile away! And they are yummy, we had the area to ourselves which was great and they were just like taking a hot bath (sorry no bubbles Fran!)We moved onto The local tree house, which are rooms, in trees basically! But all in all very clever and pretty, then we were back to Pai for a much needed rest and beer!Out on the town we bumped into Ranny, who we had lost by accident back in Chiang Mai so that night got pretty messy, and me being me decided that she wanted to see a sunrise, there's a picture of Aaron staying awake with me too! I was waiting for it to come up but it took a long time and I started to get bored, so I thought I would check the inside of my eyelids. For 3 hours and leave me with an English Plonker who burnt my foot with a ciggy trying to do a forward roll on bamboo?the pleb!We are thinking of renaming ourselves Miles, Jones and Ranny seen as he is now the official 3rd Musketeer, what do you all reckon?!
