Well Well Well, it took you all long enough to spot our latest additions, andwe wanted for you to spot them before we put the pictures on here.
We both had decided that we wanted a tattoo before we left, whilst we were in Pai we saw a girl getting a bamboo tatt on her leg which looked great, also she didn't seem to be in that much pain which is a bonus! When we arrived on Phi Phi we noticed a load of tattoo places all doing the bamboo, which is basically the needle attached to the end of a bamboo stick and the tattoo is done free hand so is less perfect than a gun, but looks great.
Aaron was soooo nervous that we had to go for a few drinks before he got his done, we went for something to eat and we bumped into our friend Clare who tagged along for the ride! The tatoo was started at about 11pm, never would that happen at home! Took longer for the carbon Copy to be put on Aarons back than the actual tattoo, due to aaron being such a fidget and a little toxicated! Once the guys started though he realised it didn't hurt as much as he thought, but used the excuse to the full sending me to get beer and chocolate for him!
His took 4 hours so we didn't finish until 3am and by that time he was a little numbbut happy with the result, for anyone who doesn't know its the scroll at the bottom of the everton crest! Being the Liverpudlian he is!
I decided that I wanted on as well and opted for some stars on my wrist, I wanted one for each member of my family and if you look closly at 'sues' the third one down she has 4 little stars, one for my nieces and nephews, any more additions to the family will get their own star!. So word of warning not too many kids Alan and Marie, think of the pain and I only have little wrists!
So there you have it, we are happy with the outcome! Sorry for not telling our mums, hopefully you will be over it by the time we get home. And yes the place was clean and the needles were changed and nice and new!
