Noosa
We had to leave our lovely friends today as they had to meet some family. We arrived at Noosa on a mission to meet Gabes (guy from tropic days in cairns) sister and bro in-law, they had a Tibetan footstall in a market that is held on a Saturday.Didn't take long to find him we just looked for the crowds of people trying to get their hands on his Momo's, Momo is like a pastry dumpling with yummy stuff inside, we ate 5, that's how yummy they are!
We said our Tara's to Cat and Tyler and went in search of a caravan park for the night, well, we drove for two whole hours trying to find a site, in the end we gave up and reluctantly paid the $33 they were asking. When we woke up that morning I discovered that we must have had a sleepover with a mouse, as the little b***** had chewed my flipflp and left little presents in the form of wee and poo, the van smelt very strange for the rest of the day and also had a clean like never before trying to find the little b*****!Noosa turned out to be a very expensive little town, full of rich people and very nice apartments, better get out of here quick!
Brisbane
We met back up with Cat and Tyler, they had been spoilt rotten in the couple of days that they had left us, with tales of watching tv and eating pizza, we decided not to hold it against them when they asked us to join them to Melbourne to stay with friends, they have promised us a telly and free internet!
Brizzy is a fantastic city, probably the largest one we have been to so far, theres so many different types of people and the fashions are great, you could sit all day and people watch! There is lots to offer for free here, we went up the town hall clock tower and were even in there for the one o'clock chime! We took our own lunch in and had a picnic in the gardens followed by a game of frizby, and we decided that if you nearly hit the same person twice then its time to put the weapon away and move on.We went to a museum here which had a plane Aaron had wanted to see, quite amusing him looking at it for about 20 minutes and being told that he had been looking at the wrong plane!Back to the campsite and for some lovely food cooked mostly by Cat, have noticed that we don't eat as many noodles when were in their company!
