Short stay in Hanoi, we need to organise our trip over to Thailand.
Went out and bumped in to the Chillian couple from Halong Bay and later into Lyndon the scottish guy from Halong Bay as well. Went out for a few drinks with him and decided to meet up for dinner at our favourite restaurant. (which is on the street, sitting on a 5 year old tea party table and chairs having a BBQ!!!)
We then headed down to a more upmarket bar ... but cheap for a few more beers before our early flight to Bangkok. A few more beers later we had a few more beers, and an apple shisha. 3.30am realised the time and that we were due to be picked up at 6.00am. Ran home to bed....
Getting up at 5.00 didnt happen and we had the receptionist banging on our door shouting the taxi is here. We had planned on packing the night before but were in no state to do so. 6.20 we got into the taxi and Kla was still out of it. 10minutes into the drive we had a flat tyre :O nightmare!!
Everything else went well. Flew to Bangkok and straight to Chaing Mai. Hunted down a cheap hotel and had lots more sleep!!!!!

Fiona well you do seem to have been very bizzy, what a great time you are having, the photos are brilliant glad to see you practicing your rowing together.!!!! You do now how to cut things close to the time of departure. What is shisha? Mum C You have certainly been to some amazing places. Maybe cut down on the beers! It sounds as if you're having a ball. Can't wait for the next installment.
