Taupo We went to the Hot Springs when we got here, they were really good. They were waterfalls coming from the Volcanoes which were about 45 degrees, running into the freezing lake! Christchurch Travelled here from Queenstown which was a long journey on the bus. Slept most of the way there. On arrival we checked into the worst hostel so far. Christchurch had a big earthquake in September last year and everything was still a bit of a mess. Our hostel had scaffolding all around it and half the rooms were still closed to be re-built! Queenstown First night. The driver organised for everyone to go out tonight because its the last night that everyone is on the same bus. We pre-drinked in the dorm then headed out. Wanaka On the way to Wanaka we stopped at some mirror lakes which looked unbelivable. Wanaka was another stop over before we get to Queenstown, we went to the lake and sun bathed. Made spaghetti bolognese for dinner which was amazing compared to all the noodles we have been eating. Franz Josef We got to Franz Joseph and went straight to sleep, we had booked an 8 hour glacier hike for tomorrow so need to get rid of the headache and catch up on some sleep.
