Westport & Poo Pub

We got to Westport, there wasnt much to do at all here, its just a stop over. We walked to the beach and slept. The next day we headed to 'Poo Pub', we stopped at a place called 'Pancake Rocks' which were rocks that were meant to look like stacked pancakes but didnt ... The scenery was amazing though. We stopped at the Salvation Army clothing shop to pick up some fancy dress clothes for the Poo Pub, the theme was 'bad taste' so the boys all dressed as women and the girls just bought random stuff.

We got to Poo Pub, an old Kiwi called Lez owns the Pub and hostel. He is 87 years old, got onto the bus to tell us their procedures and was calling us p**** and that we had to 'bloody behave'. Funniest old man ever. We met loads of English people, couple of guys from Aldershot are on our bus now :)

Everyone looked ridiculas, it was a good night. Ended in the lakes in the early morning.

Heading to Franz Joseph tomorrow for our Glacier Trek.
