We arrived at Hervey Bay mid morning and Gem and Helen went straight to the beach. I was still a bit hungover so went to sleep for an hour and then went in search of a camera repair shop. We arrived in Surfers Paradise and checked into our hostel by midday. Again the weather wasnt very good so we went to explore the town and then went for a couple of drinks. Arrived at Byron Bay at about 11 and checked into the nicest hostel ever! The room we had is huge and all the people in our room are really nice. The weather wasnt great so we just milled about Byron and did a bit of shopping etc, we sat on the beach for a while but it started to rain so we went and did our washing in the afternoon. Arrived in a very wet and cold Brisbane on Saturday the 2nd April. Flight to Sydney was another really nice one, with good food and plenty of free red wine!
