Arrived in Auckland and went straight online to answer emails and do boring stuff. We then went into Auckland and bought a suitcase each as I have begun to detest my backpack. Found one for 17 pounds which holds about 127 litres which was perfect, just hope it doesnt take me over my weight limit but the lady assured me it wouldnt. Arrived in Cairns pretty hungover on the evening of the 26th. Our friends Charlotte and Lyndsay from Byron Bay were there but I didnt feel very well (self induced) and we were all shattered and had a sky dive the next morning so we all just had an early night. 12th May 2009 Franz Josef Went this morning to do the Glacier walk. Me and gem were in the 2nd fastest group, and had a guide called Alex.
