Down to 16 degrees, windy and cloudy this morning, which means long trousers and trainers instead of shorts and flip-flops. After breakfast and a short walk, not a mile, I started packing. One of my cases is now mostly packed. Real packing will start in earnest on Tuesday.
Clocks went forward another hour, so now on Azores time which is one hour behind UK. Because of the time change, I only had a bowl of soup for lunch, before the Camera Club photo competition seminar at 13:15. Only three of my photos were shown and had mostly good comments. Didn't win though. Yvonne got a runner up picture in the intermediate category.
The seminar meant I had no time for quoits. I lost the Individual Quiz by one point. Should've been in a tie break but I got Napoleon's and the Duke of Wellington's horses mixed up!
Saw Tom O'Connor again. He slurs his words a bit now and then. We lost the pub quiz by 2 but won the Syndicate Quiz tie break. We gave the wine to the losers as we don't need any more. There's been quite a bit of movement since midday and during the pub quiz my chair slid a couple of times.
