Woke up late and after breakfast I went through UK immigration, first time I've ever done that on board. It was pretty pointless, as all they did was look at the picture page and then at me. They never put it through a reader or anything. Back in the cabin I started work on my photos and web page. On my world cruise 2 years ago Ponta Delgada was the first port of call, on this cruise it's the last. We, all six, took an open topped bus for an hour's tour of Ponta Delgada. Then after a coffee Rob, Linda, Barbara and I strolled to Campo S. Francisco and then on to to Jose de Campo Gardens. Then it was back to the ship via a bar! Down to 16 degrees, windy and cloudy this morning, which means long trousers and trainers instead of shorts and flip-flops. After breakfast and a short walk, not a mile, I started packing. Cooler again today, but still pleasant. Slight westerly breeze. After the men narrowly lost today's BoS (we can't win the series), I went back to my cabin to get my sunglasses, only to discover that it was raining, so no quoits. I lost the Individual Quiz, but the guy who won has played almost daily since Southampton and this was his first victory and first gold sticker. Formal night tonight. We lost both the Pub and Syndicate Quizzes. Guess what...

Day one of week fifteen, my final week. I can't believe I'm so close to the end of the cruise. Weather is getting cooler but it's still very pleasant to sit out in. After breakfast and a mile, I went through the wardrobes and pulled out clean stuff that won't be worn again and stuff that needed washing.
