Another beautiful day, temperature in low to mid twenties. Woke up latish and after breakfast and a mile I sat out on deck 11 with Rob. He, Lin, Barb and I had lunch and then we sat out again until deck quoits time. It was humiliating. Because of the numbers playing and the fact that there are now only 3 courts, some games are played to 9 instead of 11. In my game, we played 4 ends, they scored 3, we scored 1, they scored 3 and 3 again. Shortest game of my illustrious career!
The captain is powering along at the moment. During our trans-Pacific voyage, we averaged 350 nautical miles a day (noon to noon) at around 15 knots an hour. Today we did 548 nm and we're doing about 22 knots.
Lost the IQ. To our utter amazement we won the St. David's Day quiz with 26/30. So that's bottle 27 won and the next two formal nights catered for.
After the quiz everyone went to bed except Rob and me, so no Syndicate Quiz instead we retired to the Crow's Nest for a couple of g&t's instead. The weather as I post this is windy and very wet.
