Slept quite well last night despite the weather. I think I have a cold coming though. The Captain told us this morning that some gusts yesterday were over 70 knots per hour. Also, some cabins on the port side had a bit of flooding through their balcony doors. The dance floor in Carmen's was also flooded (though this was because of a burst pipe in the galley), so the dance classes that would normally take place in there will be in Masquerades instead.
I tried to take my mile after breakfast, it was very windy and the deck was wet and when I got to the front of the ship it was blocked off, so I gave up. On a brighter note, the weather in Bay of Islands is forecast to be sunny, so here's hoping.
Because deck 13 was closed there was no quoits, instead there was a Wii bowling competition instead. Of course I lost. Rob and I have been talking about having a drink in the Glasshouse, so after the Wii competition, we went for a glass. In the event we had a flight of three South American reds, with cheese! I'm turning from Jabba the Hut into Jabba the House :(
Lost IQ. Won my first sticker in the radio Countdown Conundrum, which Linda usually wins. We lost both the evening quizzes.
The weather at 23:30 had improved, sea state was still rough, but the wind was down to force 8.
