Slept really well last night but was woken at 7:00 by my new neighbours and the sea getting rougher.
Spent the morning sorting out my photo's and web page. The clocks went forward an hour at noon to GMT +12. They do it at noon, so the staff still get their full nights sleep.
It was the first Battle of the Sexes of this sector. More fun than last sector, but not yet as good as the first two sectors. Only Ruth was running it today as Andrew had rehearsals for a show. He's a member of the Headliners (or Binliners as some people call them). The men are winning 130 to 70.
Lost in the second round of deck quoits, I was partnered with Phil. I bought a pair of trousers in Sydney and Barbara is turning them up for me. I went to the laundry to iron a shirt and a machine was free, so I managed to get my washing done as well.
About the last thing I bought in Sydney was a box of red wine. It was 4 litres and cost $14.99, about £7.48! It tastes way better than the price suggests, too.
Lost the tie break in Individual Quiz. We also lost the Movie Quiz by one point (should've listened to Barbara). We then went on to win bottle 32 in the Syndicate Quiz. We just need one more to complete our sets for this sectors formal nights.
For what it's worth, we don't just do quizzes in the evening. We usually watch the simultaneous broadcast in Masquerade's of the show in the theatre, sometimes we go into the casino or drink on the back deck if the weather's nice. It all depends.
