Today we got a tuk tuk to the embassy! Neither of us are willing to do another trek! We got there after breakfast at 10:30 with our cash drawn out of the bank and our passports with us, this should be all you need!

We got the papers to fill in which takes forever, they want to know everything about you, your relationships with anybody in China, your job, why you want to travel to China, in detail! I'm surprised they didn't care to ask me what I'd had for breakfast that morning too because it would have been just as irrelevant as the other questions! I'm just on holiday, I want to see the wall and then leeeave?!!

We filled out the form with literally two minutes to spare, they'd locked us in and were the only ones left as it closes at 11:30!

The guy sat there and watched us rushing to fill it in and yet failed to mention that they don't take our passports only two seperate photos! Where am I going to have photos printed in the middle of rural Asia!! So yet again another day wasted and there's nothing we can do for another 24 hours until the embassy is open again! So were stuck here with nothing to do!
