Thirty thousand kilometres, a mile stone. Or should I say kilometre stone? During our travels we have met a great number of interesting people from all walks of life, some travelers, some motorcyclists, others just interested in our story. All these people have had an influence on us in some way or another and hopefully we have been able to give something in return. We have however noticed during our conversations with these people that there seems to be one reoccurring thing, they all appear to be in awe of what we are doing, but to us, because we are doing it, we haven't felt we are doing anything others couldn't do. However it occurred to us while riding along passing through another country, watching the road wind off into the distance over another hill out of sight, how special what we are doing is and how much the view over our screen has changed, it really is quite incredible, thirty thousand kilometres of changing scenery and landscape. The scenery has been changing in front of us and that is one thing, but that combined with the places we have seen and the people we have met has combined to make this journey a truly remarkable experience, one Julie and I wish others could also experience. We realise now that we are truly fortunate to be able to do this and that it is something a lot of people would never be able to do, so it is through our blogs and photos that we hope those that can't do what we are doing will be able to get something out of our adventure. So to all those people we have met on the road, to the people that have put us up (or put up with us), to all those people that have helped us along the way, to all our family and friends that are supporting us, a VERY big thank you!

Janet McIntyre A grand statement. An affirming realisation and appreciation. It is true that sometimes, because we are in it and feel able to do a thing, we don't realise just how unique or amazing it is to the general mob. You've reached a great place because you've realised it while you are in the midst of your unique adventures! It's also good to, as you've noted, be aware that not everyone can do the same thing - for many reasons. Blessings & love xxx
Mum/Marion I'm a bit behind with your blogs, how so interesting to read this one. You "waxed lyrical" a bit in this entry ! Almost "emotional" Yes indeed you are fortunate to be able to do all you are, and we appreciate your sharing as far as you can with writings and photos.
