What can you say about Monaco? No wonder all the rich and famous go there, must make us rich and famous also I guess! It would have to be the cleanest place we have been to so fare and it was lovely to look at. We couldn't believe the boats in the harbor and some of the buildings were very flash. Because of how the place is situated on the coast against the mountains there are houses and buildings perched up high and they have put tunnels through the mountain to join the city together. They had an amusement park operating in front of the city on the edge of the harbor and there were lots of people there enjoying themselves. Monaco is the second smallest country with only Vatican City being smaller. Monaco has an area of 2 square kilometres! We were only able to stay there for about three hours because we wanted to get into Italy before dark and we couldn't afford the hotel prices, pity, it would have been nice to see some more and to have lived the high life for a night! Maybe when we win lotto.
