Left Kho Tao on Sunday. Myself, Erik and Elin took a boat to Ko Pan-Ngan. When we go to the pier, Gem, Matt and Carl had come to pick us up as they had hired a Jeep. So we bypassed all the touts and taxis gathering around the new arrivals. (So thanks for that guys!). We all spent the day exploring the Island in the Jeep and Gem, Matt and Carl left that evening for Malayasia. Myself, Erik and Elin spent two days on the west coast before saying our goodbyes. On Tuesday I headed to a northern beach that is so remote that you have to get a boat there. There were only 3 restaurants, all of whom let out the Beach Huts. So i stayed in a Beach Hut for two nights (sharing it with a lizzard and am pretty sure a rat too), and laid on the Beach for two days. There was literally nothing to do here as was so remote, if you needed to go to a shop you had to take a longtail boat. Am leaving Ko Pan-Ngan this morning and heading towards the west coast to stay in Krabi for a few days. The Thai Government are tryign to encourage tourist to the west coast so have reduced all accommodation prices. So am planning to book myself into a Luxury Hotel for a few nights. Frankly after staying in a beach hut all week, i think i deserve it!!!
