Hola a todos :)

I FEEL AMAZING. I hope to discuss my flights in a later post, so I won't say much about them here. I'm here at my new home in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I love it already. My parents are so loving and patient. My goal this week is to learn to allow myself the same grace they give me. We've managed to have numerous conversations already and My Spanish vocabulary grows from each one. My home-mother knows a bit of English, so we're doing well. They know I am studying Spanish & participating in a mission, so they encourage me to speak the language as often as possible. Right now, I still understand more than I can speak. I hipe to change that this summer.

I am uncomfortable more often than not, and I am elated. Nevertheless, I feel strangely comfortable. Yes, that was contradictory. I am, of course, super aware at all times. & I think that's helping me to take everything in. I have to notice all around me for safety reasons, but this really is a beautiful city. It looks like New York got trapped in Spain and then sneezed on by Paris. While I have not been to any of those places yet (lol), the pictures I've seen lead me to believe my description is accurate. Wellllll, it's super late here (half past midnight), my mind is in jumbled Spanglish, and I have an early morning tomorrow.
